Centerpiece idea

This idea came to me this weekend. We originally wanted to do 3 birch wood tea lights as our centerpiece BUT I am having a hard time finding mor trees to cut down. So, This is what I my FMIL and I came up with this weekend.

I like it, are you going to have a candle on top?

Then I like it even more! it is very nice, and not something that you see every wedding!

I know, my mom said it's very "unique" that means she doesn't like it but, oh well I like them a lot :)

I think it is a very cool idea.  Not something you see at every wedding, which is always great to have unique ideas.  Totally love the idea and if you love it, go for it!

I think it is pretty!  Maybe put some more tealights around the base?

I saw this once where a monogram of sorts had been burned into the wood - it made them just that more personalized.  I belive that they had a heart with their initials (like you see people do in romantic, sappy movies).  It was really cute.

I might have to try that with our headtable! that's a great idea and also in luck because we have a wood burner tool. Thanks for the idea!

Also, I saw something where they took brown paint and painted the heart and initials and it actually looked like it was carved. It was on that show 4 weddings. But I absolutely love love love this centerpiece!!!! You can also get idea on etsy.com for birchwood centerpieces. I would have used an idea like this if I hadn't gone with my mason jars. Love the rustic feel to it!!! Great job!!!!
