I have been wanting to rent a house somewhere within driving distance (10 hours) of Massachusetts for a quiet honeymoon at the end of September. It would be great if it was an area that had a lot of lakefront properties or private pools. Also near enough (short drive is fine) to restaurants, quaint shops etc.
Any suggestions? I feel like I am poking around in the dark at random areas.
