XP going to the courthouse...

and we're getting our marriage license in an hour, oh my gosh this is really happening!!! I am excited because now everything seems so real!!

    YAY!  I'm so ready to do that myself.  Hopefully next week.  Although in Texas you can't get it too soon as they are only valid for 29 days.  This was the first week we could have gone.

    Congrats!

    Getting ours was a production.  At that time both people had to present, so we had to find a time more than 3 days before the wedding (because there's a 3 day waiting period) and less than 60 days (because it's only valid for 60 days) where we could both be present, and I lived an hour from the courthouse at the time.  Then we got ther eand found out it was cash only!

    I hope your license-getting is less eventful than ours :-)

    Yep, we had to get cash, and both of us had to be present.  That's why we JUST got our marriage this past Tuesday - only 2 weeks away from the wedding at that point, so the timing was a bit scary, but it all worked out, and we were able to take the copy of the marriage license to the pastor that evening for our last p-m counseling session!!! 

    :-)  

    It definitely feels good to have that part done -- for me, that made it feel SO real.  Not that it wasn't real before, but I felt it more strongly at that point. 
    July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    Yes do take cash.  That is all they take.

    So exciting! Congrats!

    I think we paid with a check, but I'm not sure. Definitely bring cash just in case. But yes, both of us had to be present, so we both took a half day from work a week or so before the wedding to go get it.
