Hey ladies my wedding is in 3 months and its a beach wedding any ideas for what I should play at cermony,walk to ect and ideas about what my bridal part should come into the reception too.  Thanks in advance, Colleen

    It all just depends on what you're looking for. Do you want your girls and yourself to walk down to classical/tradional music? Or are you looking for something more on the fun and or contemporary side? Once you know that you should be able to come up with some ideas. I googled and researched a bit and even went through my own itunes playlist.

    The version by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole'  of Somewhere over the rainbow, is something beachy and fun you could do :).

    Just have fun with it. Our bridal party in walking in to I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness. I hope I helped some! Good luck! :)

    Are you hiring a musician or playing from a DJ/sound system?  If you are hiring a professional violinist for example, I'd just let them pick something traditional, one less thing to worry about.  My friend played violin for a few weddings and she said brides always just told her to play whatever she wanted.  Weird I know but it doesn't really matter I guess.

    what kind of music do you like/want? classical? pop? country? are there any songs that have significant meaning to you and your fiance?

    do you have a musician or DJ already booked?

    for what it's worth, i always discourage use of "somewhere over the rainbow" because of it's meaning--running away because the grass is greener on the other side. not the best message for a wedding. at the very least, use the instrumental version of that song. please pay attention to lyrics.

    Thanks to everyone great tips!  I love the Over the rainbow tip we might even have our first dance to it love it so much.  Hope everyone has an awesome wedding and thanks again to everyone for all the help I am a newbie on here!
