Lesson learned the hard way

My new phone is pissing me off. Vibrate mode apparently only covers phone calls.

My alarm goes off everyday at 11:45 for my BC pills. The girls at work have come to expect to hear it b/c I cant keep it to just vibrating! Theres no vibrate only option and when my phone is on vibrate the alarm still rings.

So Its only 1030 and Im bored so I pull up a game on my phone....vibrate mode means nothing for games as well apparently. Thank God it was just seagull sounds so I played it off like it was the damn alarm again (we'll see if anyone catches on at 11:45 when the real alarm goes off). But with the phone I cant just hit "home" to cancel the game. Ive got to go thru the menu and actually shut it off...all the while its still loud! Ugh.

What a bone head

Lol, what kind of phone do you have?  I'd be so embarrassed if my vibrate option didn't work for that!

My phone also doesn't have a vibrate only for alarms and will only both vibrate and make a sound. I read online that you can download an "empty" ringtone, which will essentially be vibrate only when you set up your phone as "noise and vibrate." My officemate has a bc alarm too. It's nbd.
