How do you all store your purses?

Now that we own the house and my purse collection as well as shoes is overflowing I decided that I'm going to take advantage of the attic and only keep the purses I'm going to wear all of the time in the apartment and the rest will go in bins in the attic instead of trying to clutter my closet. I just don't know how to store them. Pics would be awesome too.

    Hey Jaimie, I have a ton purses and was looking for the same thing...I found my solution at Bed Bath and Beyond. They have these 2 straps that hook on the top and bottom of the inside of your closet door, the straps both have a bunch of hooks that you can slide and hang your purses on. I love it, it makes it easy to see, store and pick out whichever purse I want to use. For my shoes, I got a holder from Homegoods (I see them at Walmart and Bed Bath as well) that also hooks on your door and I have that on the other side (other door to closet). It hooks on the door, and my shoes are in the plastic pockets. For my boots and dressy shoes that don't fit in the pockets, I keep in the boxes. 

    Btw, the hooks don't damage the door or anything. I love it because its easy to put up, they stay in place, and once your doors are closed it's the perfect hiding spot and so organized! Plus, it leaves a TON of room INSIDE the closet to store all your other things...

    My closet is walkin but not very large.  It has a rod and shelf on the back and 1 side wall in an L shape.  One side of the shelf has folded sweaters and the other side of the shelf has my larger purses.  I have a basket left from my wedding (either bathroom basket or programs) where I put my cross body bags and wristlets.  I have my shoes in these organizers from Container Store

    They fit regular shoes and heels in individual compartments.  I have all my boots lined up on top of the unit.  I have about 4 sets of them and they all click together for added stability.  I have it placed under the part of my closet with shirts so they don't interfere with hanging pants/dresses.
