Babysitter for Wedding??

So FI and I have 11 kids coming to the wedding (all siblings children) and we would like to hire a babysitter to stay with them, in a side room during the reception. We would provide games, pillows etc, but we weren't sure where to look for someone like this. We really want someone whom is good with kids, has experience, and would be avaliable until late in the night. You wonderful ladies have any suggestions??

This is the option I'm going to explore for my wedding.  Haven't spoken to anyone there yet.  http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/lil-tux-tiaras-event-sitters-st-albans/website/edc439e2ea21d254.html

I like pp's above link- especially the screening and the training of the child care providers.  Speak to your venue about your options.  We have 10 kids attending our wedding this wknd and we opted against a babysitter (I did fill bags at their tables with candy, puzzles, coloring books and other quiet games).

With extended friends and family there, some kids may want to stay or some may just be afraid of strangers (the majority of our child guest are 2-6 and wouln't spend time in a room without someone familiar).  Our venue offered to bring in a sitter for us (as long as their is no diapering), and while I would have liked the option, I truly believe with our crowd, it would have gone unused.

Speak with the folks at your venue and see what they suggest.  They may have a list of go to sitters, or you can think of someone.  I was going to use a former graduate who went back to school for a second bach in nursing.  She loves kids and I'm sure would've loved the extra cash.  Just make sure that whoever you hire is pre-screened and certified, and don't be disappointed if some parents refuse to send young ones with her/him, and one last thing get a couple of sitters- one person can't handle 11 stranger's children.

    Good luck!

I'd look into that link too.

We are getting a couple sitters to watch them at the hotel, about 6-8 kids. But my mom runs a child development center so she is getting us a couple girls who work for her and the parents are paying for them (this is what the parents offered when I said I can make the arrangements if they would like)

Just be careful with someone you don't know . like in pp make sure they are certified , screened , interviewed and back round checked .   I also think you will need more then 1 person also .

Thanks Ladies!! I was leaning more towards an agency, and deffinitely more then one sitter. I was tired when I wrote that and probably didn't fully explain. But thank you again :)

Look into that link. And check with your venue. But also, check with your guests to see if they would utilize such a service. As pp's said, some may not feel comfortable leaving their kid with a stranger.
