Help! Outrigger Waikiki or Outrigger Reef on the beach- which hotel is better?

Hello everyone!!! My fiance and I recently got engaged in Waikiki and are looking a holding our wedding in Waikiki next Feb or March 2012! We are in the preliminary stages of planning and are considering either the Outrigger or the Outrigger reef of the beach as possible venues! Does anyone have any experience with holding a wedding at either location for the ceremony and reception? We will have approximately 30 guests! What about amenities ( ie pool), dining, and rooms? Which one is better? Thank you so much in advance for any feedback!
Aloha;)

Been to both for many years. Both are great! Rooms are comparable and both are on a beautiful part of the beach and right in the middle of Waikiki. I think the pool at the Reef is prettier but it is a longer walk from the rooms (you actually have the cross the whole length of the hotel to get to the pool and the beach). The Outrigger Waikiki pool is somewhat smaller but closer to the rooms and it also get more sunlight. Both have good restaurants, Shorebird at the Reef has the best breakfasts, Dukes at Outrigger is an insitution! You can't go wrong with either one.

We are having all of our guests stay at Outrigger Reef on the Beach. I have no experience with Outrigger Waikiki but LOVE Outrigger Reef. They completed a multi million dollar renovation a few years ago too so everything is newer. We loved the Shore Bird too =)

I've only stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki and thought it was decent enough. The walls were thin though... either that or the gay couple next door were INSANELY loud.
