London in December

My fiance and I are very close to booking flights for our honeymoon to London in December! We're starting to look at all the things to do there. Any suggestions?
We're considering a guided tour to Bath and Stonehenge. Can anyone recommend a tour company to book the tour with?

Re: London in December

  • We will be in London next week and booked our tour through Premium Tours. There are a lot of touring companies that do these types of tours and most of them have decent but mixed reviews. Our tour is going to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge and it was 71 GBP.

How long are you looking to go to London for? I consulted a lot of the people on the Trip Advisor London Forum and asked lots of questions and found them very helpful and just reading all of the posts about London helped me decide on what we wanted to do and what was there in the area. Plus they post a lot about discounts and travel options which is nice because I was very confused!

  • Thank you! We'll be there for 6 nights.
    Have fun on your trip!

so very true! We were there over Thanksgiving last year and it seemed so late becuase of it being dark, but we'd look at our watches and it was only dinnertime!

We're actually going back to London again this year for Thanksgiving. We're making it a holiday tradition. We had exceptional weather last year, but i'm sure it was a freak occurrence. I agree with pps about it being a fabulous time for museums and it's also a great time to shop! the streets are decorated for the holidays and people are everywhere!!!! You really get into the mood for the holiday season.
