Happy Mon/Tuesday

Good morning everyone!  I hope you all had a fabulous holiday weekend!!

My 12 hour shift got cut to an 8 yesterday!!!  Yay for a shorter day, but boo for missing out on 4 hours of holiday pay.  We ended up skipping the Jake Owen concert at the fair b/c the weather was so crappy.  Made it an awesome date night anyway with some Chinese takeout and champagne.  lol

How was your long weekend?

Oh- and good luck to all the teachers heading back to school today.  Take your Vitamin C and stay away from those little germ monsters... I already have a few friends in FL who are sick after just a few weeks of school..  bleh

    Good Morning all,

Holiday weekend was good.  Manage to have good weather for boating both Saturday and Sunday in the 1000 Islands.  Caught up with a bunch of river friends and enjoyed lots of live music.  Think we definately found a band for our wedding.  Check!

I miss holiday pay!!! That was the best part of my old job!!

I just tried doing school work all weekend. Online classes are a pain. Was very unsuccessful.

Actually we went to a party Saturday. Around 8:30 Carmen starts exchanging texts with a couple friends, totally confused about one of them asking if we're coming to the other one's house. Totally forgot that it was one of his best friend's 30th birthday party. Ugh. Had to wash my hair, rush around and get ready, stop at the store for things, and finally made it around 10

And I forgot about the getting sick thing. Boo. Last year I swear I was sick like every other week. I love all the little germy kids though :)

    Good morning!!

Id have to say my weekend was pretty freakin good!

I got out of work early Friday (when theres a Mon holiday off our comptroller lets us out early on Fri), so I got to intern early which meant getting home early!

Saturday Josh and 2 of his friends put up our fence (!!!!!!!) minus the door b/c for whatever reason Josh wants me to pick it out and isnt accepting that a door that matches the rest of the wooden fence is ok (?) Then I got a call from my neighbor asking me to go to the Sugarland concert with her cuz she got free tickets. BEST. CONCERT. EVER! Ive been to a million concerts and Sugarland was by far FAR my favorite!

Sunday, I did a lot of nothing, and it felt great! My next 2 weekends are packed full so I needed a lay in bed day. Dinner with Josh. Cried myself to sleep watching 9/11 documentaries.

Yesterday we did some grocery shopping then cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. OMG! I knew my house was disgusting but daaaamn. A solid like 5 hours of cleaning. Felt so good. Finally got the puppies crate out of my kitchen and in the basement b/c we dont use it enough to have it stinkin up the house. Then I once again cried myself to sleep with 9/11 documentaries. What is wrong with me?!

Anyways. Fabulous weekend! I hope all yours was just as great :)

Bridgett, I cannot watch those 9/11 documentaries!  Just the ads make me cry!  I'm a bit nervous for next weekend...

My weekend was great!  I got so much wedding stuff done!!  And went to the Ithaca Brewfest on Saturday.  Went for a hike at the Watkins Glen State Park on Sunday; FI and I dropped my camera in a puddle on rocks, so I might need a new one ASAP either before the wedding or at least before the minimoon -- I'm going to give it another day or two to hopefully dry out.

I watched like 10 minutes of it..then started crying and shut if off!  Think it hits closeer to home with FI being a fireman and I worry about him every day he goes to work.

The weekend was non stop... dress fitting Saturday morning, state fair Sat. afternoon-didn't get to see the concert :(  , baby shower and cleaning Sunday,  Antique shopping and out and about with my FI on Monday (I know we sound like old people when I say that, but he was looking for one particular thing and couldn't find it anywhere...and it wasn't really that bad!) and then more cleaning AND made my unity candle!

I had a freakin' field day going to a ghost town on our honeymoon! I have never taken so many pictures in my life! Carmen didn't seem too enthusiastic about all of the old junk, but I loved it!!

Hey all! I've been pretty sick since last Monday and I finally started to feel better on Saturday, so FI and I went to his frat house's first party of the semester... felt kinda good to act like little freshmen again after 2 weeks of law school! On Sunday we went to Rochester to take engagement pics at Highland Park-- soooo fun-- aaand then I woke up yesterday morning and felt sick as a dog again. Ugh. I'm SERIOUSLY afraid it's mono, because I have been feeling insanely fatigued; I could sleep all day, wake up at 5 at nigt and still be ready to go to bed in a few hours. No bueno :(

P.S. Hope the rest of your week goes good Monica; the last time you were excited at the beginning of the week, it did not turn out so good for you! Fingers crossed :)

Hey everyone!  Sorry I'm posting this late, but I had a craaaazy day at work (day after holiday).  Anyways, I had such a great weekend!  Drove to Rochester saturday, visited my alma mater RIT and went to dinner with family.  Went to Ventosa on sunday, and had a page full of questions answered by RJ.  Super excited for the wedding!  Stopped in Syracuse on monday to visit a former coworker, then made the trip home.  It was so great to be home in NY, I hope to do it again soon!

Lorna, I had mono before, it totally sucks.  My throat swelled up from enlarged lymph nodes, not very pretty.  Hope that's not what you have!
