Bridesmaid's hair

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if I need to pick out hairstyles for my girls or should I let them pick their own? I'm nervous that if I let them pick their own I'm going to hate it, but if I completely delegate they'll think I'm a nazi. Should I pick out 5-10 styles for them to pick from or have them pick a style, but run it past me first? I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or step on any toes!

    Honestly, I would just let them decide how to have their hair.  They know their hair best after all.  If a friend asked me to get mine put in an up-do, I'd do it since I'm her friend, but I hate having it all up, so I wouldn't be happy.

    I paid for my girls to get their hair done at a nice salon so at least I knew that whatever they chose would look nice.  One chose an up-do, one chose her hair half-up, and the other did her own since she has short hair.  They were all happy because they got to choose what they wanted and I was happy because it was professionally done.

    I agree with the others.  Let each girl decide how she will look best and leave it at that.

    Honestly, you're going to be so caught up in the day you won't care who wears their hair what way. I barely paid attention to my bridesmaids hair. I let them wear it however they wanted to and they were all happy and comfortable.

    Even if you are paying, you should not dictate hairstyles.  If you selected stylists you trust, you should trust that they know what will work for each person.

    I'm just asking that their hair be out of their face. Down or up just as long as it's not obstructing and of course not exactly like mine. I think it's fine to want a semi unified look but allow them to be individual too.

    Thanks for your input, everyone. That is what I expected to do, but the thought crossed my mind, so I wanted opinions. I think I'll just tell them not to do it like mine, since that's what I'm mostly concerned with, anyway.
    @ mtishawt I'm using your MOH & BMs dress for my BMs. You've got good taste. lol

    I'm letting mine choose.  We are all getting our hair done at a salon the morning of the wedding, so I know that everyone will look great.  It doesn't really matter to me how they wear it, whatever they choose will look nice!
