Nope, not a darn thing WR. I had studying and house things to do.
Oh, I did get a few last names and addresses I didn't know for the invites. That is all. Lol
Just little things. I got to spend some time with both of my bridesmaids which was awesome because we all have totally different schedules, and my MOH is in grad school an hour and a half away. We talked out some batchlorette party ideas so I'm excited!
I had my first fitting! It was scary, ha. I have to say I'm not 100% in love with my body these days (more like, eh, 50%?), so it wasn't fantastic, but oh well.
We had our first meeting with the pastor on Friday. It went very well! I also got about half of the invites addressed. I had wanted to hand write the addresses but I absolutely hate my hand writing so we printed directly on to the invitation (they fold up to be their own envelope). We ordered a seal stamp and the wax. One invitation is on its way to Belgium for my cousin and his wife so 1st invitation is out the door!

Not a whole lot. We finalized the wording for our invitation inserts and mom priced having them printed at Kinkos, which I think she may take them and get them printed today. We ordered our votives to go in our centerpieces, and I argued with my mom about if we can use sparklers for our send off...that wasn't productive and had no conclusion.
I also chose the necklaces I want to get my girls, but I have to wait a little while to order them since I can't just spend all that money immediately after my dog had his surgery.
Not really, I finished making the tags for our favors. The favors are coming in tonight so I will be able to attach them and finish the favors. I also bought a veil, still not sure if I'm wearing one, but I wanted to have one for my first fitting this week to make my final decision. Thursday is my boudoir shoot for FI's wedding gift, I'm beyond nervous.
I had a pretty productive WR weekend but it was fun.
I figured out what I'm wearing for both showers/bachelorette/rehearsal dinner. I bought a new RD dress which I wasn't going to do but I fell in LOVE with it, and it's classic so I can wear it again. Bought my shoes and my veil!! Had our cake testing and decided on types of cupcakes/frosting/flowers, etc.
I'm trying to get as much done now as I can before things get crazy.

Um...YUM! Recipe??
I've been cranking out wedding to-do's lately (mostly because I hadn't done ANYTHING from like April until now).
-Ordered my veil online this morning at work ;) -Ordered a sash for my dress from Etsy -Worked on invitation design -Finalized registry -Asked a friend to play piano at our ceremony (fingers crossed he says yes)
Hmmm, let's see. We did our cake tasting on Saturday and now I am searching for cupcake wrappers and the cake topper. I also ordered some of the materials for my centerpieces and the jute to keep my invitations together. I'm hoping to get our invites in the mail this week so that I can start working on putting them together this weekend.

Just looked at wedding bands for him and tuxes. But that is a big step to get him to do it, so that made me happy. I also painted the "Love is sweet" banner that I'm making for the candy bar.....FI came in and asked what it is and where it is going.....I was a little bummed but whatever!
We approved our invitation proofs! I am really excited about that check because it was something I was sitting on for a while. We also ordered some gifts for our wedding party. My Mom's shoes for the wedding came in, so she went for her first dress fitting. All that needs to be altered are the straps. I hope my fittings go as smoothly as hers!
I went to the post office and got all our stamps and mailed my parents and FILs invites. I printed all our envelopes so all that's left for invites is to stuff and mail, which I plan to do this upcoming weekend! FI and I also booked our honeymoon! My first shower is Sunday so I'm super excited for the weekend and it's only Monday!
I already posted about most of my stuff..my sister finally went BM dress shopping she was my last one to order. I also picked up one of my BM's dresses and my special order garter. I received my invitations Friday and started assembling everything as posted earlier this weekend...I got 42 of them done! Whoohoo! Now I'm just waiting on FI to get the rest of the addresses from his side. I have only one to get and that's for my hairdresser and her husband who is friends with FI. Then I will be able to hopefully print all the envelopes out. I also completed my outfit for epics on the 27th..and got FI to buy a new pair of pants and shirt that aren't all stained up for them lol. I picked up and tried on my dress from my Mom's. It goes to the alterationist tomorrow. I realized I've gained weight since I brought it home and now need to lose about 20 lbs just to fit in it!!! So I went healthy food grocery shopping yesterday and picked up a bunch of fresh veggies and stuff to make salads. Some chicken, some tuna and some progresso soups for lunch. FSIL are supposed to start walking tomorrow. We couldn't today because of a funeral she had to keep kids and I overslept because my phone died in the night. I need you ladies to help keep me motivated because I HAVE to fit in the dress!

So on Friday my mom and I got a ton of checks done:
First we went to the mall and picked up a couple of pairs of flip flops for the morning of the wedding: a white pair for me and black bottomed ones with white straps for 2 of the BM.
We went to the hotel where we have a block on rooms reserved and booked our rooms for the night before and of. We will be getting a King Executive Suite!! I will be staying in it the night before the wedding and getting ready in it. FI will be in another room with his brother.
At Hobby Lobby I got a pretty pail for our flower girl to girl carry, votive holders with candles already stuck in them (for half off!!!), leaf printed ribbon to wrap around the candles, and ribbon for the cake.
Then we headed to the bridal shop and I got to try on my dress:) There will need to be a lot taken off the bottom- I am standing on the platform and my dress reaches the floor! I have an alteration appointment on August 14!!
I had my 1st dress fitting. Also ended up buying a veil and my earrings. Finalized our readings for the ceremony. Picked some of "special" songs for the recepitons (first dance, mother/son, father/daughter, ect)
-chose the menus for our tasting next Wednesday, just am waiting on Best Man's choice for a salad before I email it to the coordinator.
-addressed, stuffed, stamped, and sealed all our invites except the Canadian ones that need a Canadian stamp for the RSVPs and two I'm waiting on addresses for because folks are moving.
-designed rehearsal dinner invites on Vistaprint and ordered them.
-bought bridal shower "thank you" gifts for all of the hostesses (Keurig cups for FSIL and FMIL who are hosting the first shower, candles for other two FSILs who I believe are helping; a bag of Starbucks coffee for MOH and candles for 3 BMs, who are all doing the second shower)
-bought a "thank you" gift for our violinist (Star Wars pint glasses, he'll love them!)
-discussed shower and bachelorette party with MOH.
-my dress came in and I scheduled my first fitting for August 10th, as MOH doesn't work Fridays and we can go together and get lunch after.
I ordered my invites and ordered some custom made stamps to match the invites.
I had previously ordered the RSVP cards, return address labels an seal stickers that match. Now just another 2 week wait and I can get all my invites together!
Yes, we recieved our engagement photo proofs in the mail on Friday, placed an order for the pictures we wanted, Ordered my invites and rsvps, ordered a custom address stamper that was free on vistaprint just had to pay shipping, ordered some outer mailing envelopes for our invites, finalized our guestlist to get ready to address invites when we them in, worked on a bridal shower guestlist that my MOH requested, bought more stuff for our candy buffet, and worked on some little signs for each of the jars on the candy buffet.
Re: Monday Checks
I did finish one of my DIY projects, though. My unity candle. So, I guess I really did do something!
