Ceremony Musicians

Hi All!

Does anyone have suggestions for ceremony musicians in the Albany/Saratoga/Lake George area? I'm looking for something a little less traditional - I'm planning to walk down the isle to the theme song from the Princess Bride - and would ideally like a group that could perform this (although that might not really be possible) as well as some mellow, pre-ceremony music that would ideally be contemporary and not classical. I have NO idea where to start - all suggestions welcome!

    I'm using the Rosamund Duo (they have trio too) for my ceremony in lake george. They have some different music and were willing to do something new for me too. I'm doing some beatles tunes.

    The woman's name is Cindy Ogulnick and she is very responsive and they get great reviews on some other wedding websites. She is out of MA but didn't charge me extra for travel.

    Oh great - I will definitely check them out! I'm not really into lots of classical, but I'm thinking I'd like to have live music. How did you even find them??? It's been such a challenge to find musicians.

    I found them on Craigslist. They do all types of music and can make arrangements to meet your needs. They jumped out at me because in their listing they listed Beatles songs which is what we needed, so it seemed meant to be.

    Their good ratings just made me feel better about it.

    She worked up an arrangement for me so I'm sure she'd be able to do what you need. Good Luck!
