I met with my florist last night -- Lisa of Designs North. Although I can't give a final review yet, I LOVE her. She is so friendly, and as you will see below with the CPs she is a genius with ideas and creativity.
Anyway -- the bouquets were not totally put together, but she had most of the flowers in the right colors to show me how everything would go, so it was helpful. My bouquet will have orange and red gerbers, orange roses, and pops of blue delphinium, as that is our main color:

(the actual bouquet will be bigger)
The bridesmaid bouquets will have these flowers (yellow daisy mums, orange, red, burgandy gerbers, blue delphinium):

(next to BM dress fabric)
Moving on to the CPs...when we took our CPs into the caterers on Friday, we discovered that they were too small once on the table with the linens and dishes:

And this table isn't even as big as the ones we will be using. So we brainstormed a way to raise the CPs and make them a bit more elaborate, and the best we could come up with was this:

We found bronze colored chargers at Michaels which are perfectly sized to hold everything, but we couldn't find anything to raise it up that did not make the whole thing very unstable, risking broken wine bottles before the end of the night. Took it all in to Lisa, and she came up with these flower pot things to raise it:

They are brown, so they match without having to paint them, and wider so they are more stable. She can order them for us from her wholesaler. And then she added some flowers to make it more elegant, and I LOVE what she came up with. Its hard to see in the pictures because of all the stuff in the background, but :

I love the flower choices (rose, gerber, and something I can't recall the name of with curly branches, and the pops of blue delphinium on the charger).

Anyway, she will be giving me the final estimate by Friday. I know we can swing the flowers/pots/water tubes if we do all the work ourselves and she just gives us the unprocessed flowers (we would have to cut the stems and strip them), but she is also giving us the price if she does the work, which would be awesome and stress relieving if we can afford it.
Now that I've written an entire storybook, hope you ladies have a nice day. And if anyone in the Triad area is looking for a florist, so far I can highly recommend Lisa at Designs North!
