Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Brunch

Ladies,

What location in the Mpls area would you recommend for brunch?  A few of my friends and I are going to try and do brunch once a month somewhere different.  I know you girls know the good spots. : )
TIA!

Sofitel has an a-freaking-mazing Sunday brunch.  I believe it's at La Fougasse.

The Independent in Calhoun Square has a nice setup, and their drinks are good.

Hell's Kitchen is also fabulous.  Make sure to try their homemade peanut butter.

Hot Plate is good, but gets really packed.

Zeno used to be pretty good, but is sadly out of business.

I think French Meadow on Lyndale has something, too, but I'm not sure.

My favorite is Dixies on Grand in St Paul.  Awesome food (including unlimited made-to-order omelets and eggs benedict) and BOTTOMLESS mimosas!

Town Talk Diner!!! They've got great food all-around, but I love when we get there early enough on the weekends to get breakfast stuff. Awesome crazy pancake specials, and the first thing I ever had there -- bananas foster french toast....mmmm...

The best brunch is at Sunsets in Wayzata.  It's a buffet and they have tons of little dessert to choose from which is why I love it so much.

Ditto Bimibi on Egg & I; there's one in St Paul and one in Minneapolis,I think.

French Meadow is ok, but I've never really seen the appeal that everyone raves about.

Keys Cafe in St Paul is good too!

Mmmmm... Jax.  I totally forgot about that one.  When you make your reservation, they give you personalized matchbooks, too.  They spelled my name wrong on mine, but it was still a pretty cool thought.

I don't know what the French Meadow raves are all about, either.  The place is good, but not rave-worthy.

Lord Fletchers on Lake Minnetonka is pretty good too!

I second Hell's Kitchen! AMAZING homemade peanut butter!

    Have fun!
