Do they typically get sent with the wedding invitations or seperately? When should they go out?

    They can go out in the mail about a month before the wedding, or you can just verbally tell or e-mail those that need to be there. 

    Since my in-laws hosted our RD, I asked my MIL how she wanted to handle the invitations and she decided that she wanted to be in charge of them herself, so I let her handle it.

    I've never received an invite to an RD.  If I'm in the wedding I obviously know I'm invited, the bride's all just gave me the info via phone or e-mail.

    I am including in my wedding invitation.  I asked my future MIL who is hosting if she wanted to mail them out herself.  She declined so I am including a separate card in the wedding invites to those invited to the RD.

    We are doing seperate, kind of light hearted invites for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  We have a small group, but I still want everyone to have it in writing!!  So, we are sending them out about a month before, but of course we will have talked to everyone before that too!!!

    We sent them seperately but within the same week - this was per Fi's parents request.  I have usually recieved about a month before or as people said, via word of mouth.  I like the invites though, they were made by the same etsy designer and were a more casual fun version of our design.

    I'm having a destination wedding and no bridesmaids/groomsman so everyone is invited to my Friday night welcome dinner.

    I'm putting the info on a seperate piece of paper in my invites and then having everyone RSVP on the same card.

    Emily Post might say differently, but I don't care.
