Hey girls I'm new to this board!!!

Hey girls!! I'm new to this board! I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia but my husband and I are going to be moving to Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona within the next year!! Thought it would be nice to get to know some of you before I Move and kind of get to know the area. I am a local photographer in ATlanta, and when I move new places, I am always looking for those unique spots to take photographs. Would any of you have any local spots you could recommend ot me for engagement sessions or whatever! I would love to do some research so that by the time I get to Phoenix/Scottsdale I will have a list of places I can go and check out. I would greatly apprciate and congrats on all your upcoming marriages!!! :) I heard Arizona is beautiful so I bet all of your weddings will be too!!!

    Papago Park is beautiful - just don't go anytime close to night time. Its a big park and F for the gay community. FYI.

    If you like good scenery then anywhere near Canyon Lake is beautiful and isn't that far away. Sedona of course is the best place for any type of photography. Downtown Phoenix has some really great spots if you like the industrial look. Plus if you get to the top of a parking structure at sunset - GORGEOUS! South Mountain has some great spots too. Anywhere outside by a mountain would be great, depending on the type of lighting that you are looking for.

    Welcome to the board!  It's always fun to have someone new!

    I think the most popular photo spots are
    -Downtown Tempe/Tempe Town Lake
    -South Mountain
    -Desert Botanical Garden
    -Japanese Friendship Garden
    -McCormick Railroad Park
    -Scottsdale Civic Center (They have a neat LOVE statue)

    Welcome!  My fiancé and I had our engagement pictures taken at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.  The grounds are beautiful and very green, which I love, because I can't stand "desert landscaping." lol
