King Gap Brides...Questions?

Hi Ladies-

We looked here today and liked it a lot.  I am wondering, for those of you getting married here, where are you having the ceremony and reception?  Is anyone using the garden area?  Do you know if other people will be walking around the mansion during your wedding, or is it exclusively yours because of "renting" it?  Any imput is so appreciated!!!!

Thanks!

I'm getting married there this May.  I"m using the garden for my cocktail hour, my reception inside, and the ceremony at church nearby (unless it rains).  During your wedding, the general public can still use the outdoor area including the gardens, but if you are having an indoor event they do not allow visitors inside the mansion. Hope that helps!

We are getting married there in October. We're having the ceremony on the patio overlooking the valley and the reception inside the mansion. When you rent for an indoor reception you get access to the entire lower floor, minus the office area. You don't have access to the upstairs unless you rent out the entire mansion. You can also rent out each bedroom separately, if you want to have that option for your guests.

I'll be married there in June, on the patio. We'll be using the dining room inside since it will be a small crowd, and it's a luncheon...no dancing, etc. However, the guests will still have access to the entire first floor of the mansion, which will be nice for mingling and relaxing. The manager said a ranger will be on hand to kind of direct people and make sure that no one interrupts the ceremony.
