Limos

Hello Ladies,

Any recommendations for Limo companies? I'm looking for a party bus for the bridal party from my house in Bear to the church (St. Anthony's) and from the church to Hartefeld. Any advice is appreciated...Thank you!

We used Riverfront Limo out of NJ based on a recommendation from another Knottie.  Not only were they the cheapest by far, but everything was included in that price (tip, tax, tolls, and anything else).  Our driver was very accomodating, and very understanding (even when my sister's strapless/backless bra accidently got thrown into his seat- it was meant for my other sister who was sitting right behind him).  They were also very very easy to deal with overall, and treated us wonderfully whenever we spoke on the phone.  FYI, they also are willing to negotiate price (per the other Knottie).

We actually had a really bad experience with Dave's and how they spoke to us, and DH was so irritated by it we will probably never use them.

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I hadn't heard of Riverfront, but will definitely add them to my list.

We just used Dave's Limo for our wedding on 10/2.  We rented their 26 passenger limo bus for our bridal party.

I mostly dealt with Kelle (the vice president) in the office and she was great.  We had no problems with communication at all.  And as I was telling her the various locations for the day she knew exactly where everything was without having to give her an address (other than my sister's house).  The bus was clean and stocked with champagne glasses, napkins, and ice and the air conditioning was working perfectly.  No complaints about the bus itself.

I don't remember our driver's name but he was great as well.  We didn't even tell him the location for pictures until after the ceremony and he gave us no problems about it.  On our way from the park to the reception we passed the cemetary where my husband's mom is buried and one of his brothers asked the driver to honk as we went by and he obliged while we all toasted.

We probably ran about 15 minutes over our rental time in total, again with no problem.  We paid just less than $850 for 3 hours including gratuity.

I'd definitely reccommend Dave's for their limo bus.

There is also About Town Limo.  I'm not using them for my wedding, but I used them for prom (a zillion years ago!).  They were fine to work with then, but I don't know if things have chaged.
