Crystal Plaza tasting

Does anyone know why Crystal Plaza in livingston do not do tasting?

    When I went to see it I asked about the tasting and the guy basically laughed at me. He said that they don't do them bc their reputation is enough. That is one of the main reasons I chose not to use them. I thought it was rude.

    Same here! He said that they knew their food was good so there was no need for them to do tastings!

    Most places will not do a food tasting until after you book with them.  I have had some places tell me that do not do any kind of tastings until you are choosing your food options one month before your date.  Other places will have large food tastings once every few months with about 20-30 other couples. 
    It is the way the tri state area "works".  I had one location tell me that they dont have tastings because if I dont book, someone else will. I guess the economy isn't hurting the wedding industry here.

    In this scenario they don't do them at all. I understand that most do them after booking but even if you book their you are not entitled to one.

    I experienced the same exact thing with Crystal Plaza.  BIG reason my fiance did not want to book there.  No food taste, no go he said lol.  The fact that you could see the parking lot from the outdoor ceremony too easily was a turn off to me as well.  They need a bigger outdoor ceremony area that is secluded.
