searching for vendor options for ceremony music

Hello brides to be! I'm searching for possible ceremony/cocktail hour musicians. We will be having a DJ for the party, but I'm having a hard time finding a lot of options remotely for our wedding near Geneva (10.1.2011). I've been on numerous wedding vendor sites (some reviews seem outdated, or I can't find any contact info, etc.) and have contacted several, but still not completely satisfied.

Most I've seen have been string quartets. Not toally against, but might be a bit more formal for what we are having. I'd love to hear of others, or any unique ideas couples in the area are considering. THX!

This might not be your style either as it's pretty classic, but I'm having a string duo based out of Ithaca (they also have various other music ensembles available) for my ceremony.  They play both modern stuff and classical.  The name is Lykander Music; you should be able to google it or if not, I can dig up their info.  We're planning to have the DJ play music for our cocktail hour (just more mellow music than for the reception).
