Re: Weekend Plans...

I am currently getting ready for an all day shopping trip with my mother, SIL, and 7 month old nephew.  I haven't bought anything for myself in a really long time, so this is exciting for me.

I have no plans for Saturday and I am definitely not complaining.

Sunday we are having a nice brunch at a local ski resort for FI's family birthday's this month.  Then heading to the winery we are getting married at to taste wine for the favors and cocktail/wine tasting hour.

    Have a good weekend ladies!

Football!!!!! Plus I have 2 tests on Monday, so I'll be studying a lot! Other than that, I think I might make some of these: Clicky..

Sigh..I love to bake.. It's relaxes me.

Definitely watching football!  Having some friends over for dinner tonight - he just finished OCS and is in the same year as FI at law school, so we'll all be at Quantico while the guys do TBS at the same time in spring 2013.  Figured it would be good for all of us to do some bonding!

Saturday FI is going to his school's football game with some friends, and I'm not sure what I'll do.  Probably make the hour drive to the craft store to buy some ink for the custom stamps we had made for the wedding so I can play with those.  Maybe grab a coffee with a friend.  Definitely going to work out in the morning!

Sunday will be relaxing - grocery shopping, cleaning, prepping for the week, and watching football.

Footballl!! Yay! OU/FSU I don't know why I didn't, but a couple months ago I should have bought a ticket to this away game. It is only a couple of hours away from FI and it would have been a fantastic trip.

Oh well, I'm going down to Texas to visit my family and do some dress shopping. ahh! They have SOOO many huge dress shops in the D/FW area it is overwhelming.

I also have two projects for school due next week, but neither one of my groups have emailed me...so I am just going to pretend I have no idea...and get the hell out of this town before they realize what needs to be done.

Sunday is my bridal shower which I am super excited about!
Saturday I will probably help my mom with setting things up for it since she has done everything alone regarding my shower and I'm sure she would appreciate it.
Right now I am heading off to walmart to find a clear funnel and floral tape and probably start picking up some things for FI's homecoming that is coming up pretty fast!

I am not doing much of anything. FI and I had a miscommunication and he's going to the NC State football game tomorrow with his friend instead of his friend and me like what I thought was originally planned. Grrrr...I was so annoyed yesterday when he annoyed when he announced that he and friend were going to the game. But we talked it over and we're good. Except now we have to cram a bunch of wedding stuff into next weekend :-/ I've been trying to space it out since he's 2 horus away and all that..so we'll see. On the bright side, I'm supposed to be going dress shopping with my 2 guest book attendants tomorrow (they're 11 and 13) and Sunday I'm supposed to be going to Tweetsie Railroad (it's this small, western themed amusement park). So my weekend should be decent :)

FI is gone on a det for a few weeks. Think I might bake, and cook larger quantites to freeze for the week (otherwise I have no ambition to make a good meal every night if I'm the only one eating it)! Possibly a birthday/girls night tomorrow.

Saturday afternoon FI leaves to go back to work. Sad face. But at least I get tonight and most of tomorrow to spend with him before his leave is up, and there's football on after he leaves.  Sunday is yet another work day. Blah.

Going to my niece's wedding at 5 pm today.  My FIL's 80th bday party (and work) tomorrow, and taking kids and g'kids to the orchard for our annual orchard day bash complete with bonfire, roasted hotdogs, and roasted apples.

Friday night is pretty much the only time of the week that I actually get to hang out with my fiance, so I'm really excited.  I think we're planning on going out to eat with some of his med school friends and their SOs.

Other than that, no major plans.  I'll probably check out the Oklahoma/Florida game and I definitely have to get a few good workouts in, but that's it.

I don't really care about FSU at all, but I do want to see OU lose just because I want them to lose their #1 ranking.   :)

Elle- Oh come on that isn't very nice =) To be completely honest, I hate the #1 spot, I would much rather be sitting at the #2 spot...so much safer right now!

It should be an interesting game on the sidelines because the FSU's Defensive coordinator (Mark Stoops)  and OUs head coach (Bob Stoops) are brothers...That has been a big talking point around here...

I'm hoping to do some DIY projects and paint my office. I have an unhealthy obsession with lace and burlap and turquoise. So.. I think we are going to add a chair rail and paint and decorate. Hopefully. Maybe go for a ride. But nothing really too much is planned. We might head to the beach. Not really for sure yet. We tend to wait until the last minute to plan things. I definitely need to do my DJ research and get that booked this month but thats the only thing wedding wise I want to do this weekend.

I don't have to be nice when it comes to college football.  But I will include smiley faces in my harsh statements to soften them a little.  So :) there.

I didn't know that about the Stoops brothers.  That's really interesting.

Is that directed at me?  I'm neither, but I"ll be pulling for Florida in this one because I always root against any team ranked higher than LSU.

Well, I am going to my first Air Force ball. I thought I wouldn't be going, but now I am- so it's been a panicky getting everything together few days. I'm hella nervous, but also really excited. The rest of the weekend will be spent getting the office/guest room and the kitchen in some sort of order. We need to go buy more shelving for the kitchen so that I can have shelves I can reach without a small step-ladder. Also, It seems like there are never enough coathangers in the closet :)

Tonight we are hoping to go to the local HS football game. We both miss HS football (he played, I cheered) so I think it would be fun plus a couple families on base have kids that go there. We have a squad meeting before then.

Tomorrow we are going to the State Fair with another couple. Super excited, but still haven't figured out what to do with Missy.

    Sunday... football and chores :)
