In need of an Army Chaplain

Hi. I'm knew to The Knot. ^_^ My fiancee is currently overseas and in the Army. He's made some requests that I'm trying to meet for him, but they aren't proving horribly easy without him here. Currently I'm on the hunt for a Chaplain in this area. Does anyone know how to go about finding one? I tried googling, but only really came up with newspaper articles. Any help will be very, very much appreciated. I really want to try and incorporate as many things that he would like as I can. Thanks! ^_^

Is there a reserve post in Dallas or Ft. Worth?  You might check there.

The nearest actual army base I can think of is Ft. Hood in Kileen... they might have some answers for you.  I would think if your FI is army he could at least give you some hints as to whom you should contact.

You can also go to another military branches base if you want your wedding done by a preacher in the service, and there's actually quite a few spread through texas.

Brooks AFB, Lackland AFB, and Fort Sam Houston (Army) are in San Antonio
    Dyess AFB is in Abilene
Goodfellow AFB is in San Angelo
Laughlin AFB is in Del Rio
Randolph AFB is in Universal City
Sheppard AFB (one of the bigger/nicer ones) is in Wichita Falls
Fort Bliss is in El Paso (Army)
Fort Hood is in Killeen (Army)

There’s also four Naval bases between Ft. Worth, and Corpus Christi.

    That's all i know of

    HTH :)

Contact the national guard here. My Fiance just returned from deployment and they had a chaplain who deployed with them. They national guard armory in Grand Prairie may be able to at least point you in the right direction.

I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Well, he's currently in Afghanistan and I rarely get to talk to him. So he just asked that I try to find one. It may come down to JP though, if I can't find anyone. />.<'

See, I figured at the least he could say something like, "This was the chaplain at my base," but I guess he's a little busy.  ;)
