carmel/candy apple favors

im new at writing posts on here! i just had an idea of doing carmel/candy apple (just plain) favors for my wedding next september....im from pittsbrugh, where around here/or close to here, can i purchase them? making them will be the last resort. thanks!!

    I thoguht about that too.  It's a really cute idea!  I have not idea how much they would cost.. and I'm from Georgia.  But yeah, I think making them would be a mess.

    If you are looking for something particularly local, check your local boards.  But you also need to make sure this is something you are allowed to have at your venue.  Some places do not allow outside food or drink, so you don't want to spend all that money and then have to give them from the trunk of your car.

    I love this idea! I agree though, double check with your venue if it's applicable. I don't know anything about your wedding or your venue. For example, my wedding is in a barn, so there is no catering manager, banquet manager, etc.

    My wedding is similiar to yours in the fact that the venue is owned by a family I nanny for, so there would be no problem with my bringing food from the outside.. but that is a good point to make.  It would definitely be a shame for them to melt in someone's trunk!

    I am ordering my candy apples from Daffy Apples. The apples end up costing $1.09 each, which I think is a great price. The recommend you order them 3-4 weeks prior to the event, the apples will be shipped / arrived 3-4 days prior to the event. There is a picture in my bio of how I want to package them.
