HELP!! any ideas?!?!?

We are both christian but we wanna do something unorthidox.. is it completely faux to not pray during the ceremony??  my little brother is our officiant and we are using a poem for our vows... anything else that should be included im at a loss...

    You don't have to pray at your wedding if you don't want to.  A lot of Christian couples do compeltely secular weddings.  It's all about what you want and the roll that faith plays in YOUR lives.  

    Just make sure that you look at your state's requirements for wedding ceremonies.  Some require a declaration of intent ("Do you, bride, take this man....." "I do."), but most don't.  Your brother should be aware of any requiremetns since he's qualified to perform wedding ceremonies in your state.   Otherwise, as long as you meet your state's requirements for a legal wedding, you can do what suits the two of you!
