Flower girl flip flops or shoes

Hi All,
I am looking for simple flower girl flip flops with either a coral, ivory, or turquoise flower to go with our wedding colors. I found some at The Gap, but since my flower girls are all different ages, I could only find 2/3 of their sizes. I would like to have them wear the same style shoe. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find flip flops like the ones below?  I will need them in girls size 2, 10, and 8 (toddlers).

Re: Flower girl flip flops or shoes

  • I found a lot of shoes on Zulily, which is where I ended up getting our shoes.
  • How old are your flower girls?  I would be careful of having them in flip flops if they are young (like 3 or younger).  They can easily trip in them, heck even I trip in flip flops now and then.  I would consult with their parents first before purchasing anything.

  • Flower girls are 4 and 8. Thanks for the zulily tip, they have so much there. Hoping i can find something that is suitable.
  • I agree with Maggie... I had 4 year olds and I had them in sandals that strapped in the back.
  • Do you really want anyone wearing flip flops?  That's an awful sound when walking down the aisle.  Why not have them wear ballet flats?
  • Thanks for all your tips. We are having a beach wedding hence the flip flops. I thought flip flops would be more comfy for the girls as it will be hot and they can slip them off whenever they want. I will continue looking, or will consider buying flowers and attaching them onto the flp flops.

As Retread mentioned, the sand will kick up when walking.  And walking on sand in flip flops can be akward, especially for children.  Why not go for cute flat sandals?
