Soooo is it standard for invites to use mostly lowercase?  Many of the ones I like seem to have mostly lowercase instead of proper capitalzation....anyone?

(I'm getting new ones since I printed mine before IP changed to The Quad, bleh and choosing a new design)

    Knowing how I am, the lowercase would probably bug me LOL And I would have to have proper capitalzation, especially on invites, but if that's the new thing it should be okay. Really depends on your preference :)

    It looks so wierd.  Ok I am glad it's not just me.  If I got one with all lower case I'd wonder if it was a mistake LOL

    I think it depends on the style of invite. The ones I got had all lower case and we changed it because FI really hated the look but if it works for you I think it's be fine. 

    I'd shoot IP a line about the inconvenience because they obviously didn't plan to change names over night and you should have been advised about this when you booked your ceremony.

    Thank you!  I have contacted IP and they are giving us a bottle of champagne (it'sw something I guess).  The kicker is when I heard mumblings of new name and such I asked my coordinator if this would effect me and she assured me it wouldn't.  So I ordered invites I got a good deal and we love our current design (our current invites are a free design I had printed from VP) but I got the chance to choose from a popular site and I love these even more...I have narrowed it down to 24 designs I like, yikes.  I want to pick soon because I hoped to get invites out by the end of Jan.

    It's unfortunate you were given incorrect information and are now redoing them, but it sounds like you'll be happy with this new invite design. What vendor/site are you using? I used Minted for my Savethedates love them! They were more than what I wanted to spend but got an amazing 50 off any purchase coupon so I got them for under 30. The invites I am going to try to do at home with a Brides magazine wedding kit I bought on sale. It was the look we wanted and it will come out to a little under 2 an invite. Hope I can get them to print correctly... and need to remember to put The Quad instead of IP! And at least you're getting champagne. Got to look at the positives at this point. Can't believe your wedding is in a few months!
