RSVP cards - vent

in March 2012 Weddings
So at this point I have 19 oustanding RSVP cards. Really people? It has a stamp on it, how hard is it to check yes or no and put it back in the mail? Now I have to text/call/fb msg 19 people to ask them if they are coming, and stress without being rude that Yes means yes because we are paying per person.

    I feel you completely. We had to track down a TON of people over the weekend, and for FI's friends at work, I told him I have to have something by Wednesday or they are not coming at all. Ridiculous - OH! And then they didnt want to mail them, so I wasted no joke like 14 freaking stamps!
    I'm sorry! Just know you're not alone, and your getting so close!!

    Yeah..my RSVP date was 2/1 - I had gotten back maybe 25 out of 61 I sent. Not cool.

    Yeah, that is kind of annoying, but it totally goes with the wedding-planning territory, right? I thought I had wasted a few stamps by stamping too many RSVP envelopes, but it turns out I had accidentally included blank envelopes in some invitations... so they probably thought I was the rude one... oops!

    I still have over 30 cards out there and a little over a week for the RSVP date.  I hope people get on the ball or I'll be hunting them down!!

    i have a week to go and ohh.. about 80 still out there ( apparently everyone i know is a slacker..) but i made my rsvp date a week earlier then i originally wanted to just for this reason :)

    Isn't it ridiculous? I have 9 days to go (sent 6 weeks ago) and nearly 100 outstanding.
