I'm a control freak, a wordy control freak. I had our priest say this: "We ask that their days be long, and be seasoned with love, understanding, and respect. And may all of us be blessed by love as it shines through them all of their lives. It is now with great pleasure that I pronounce you spouses for life. You may kiss. Will the guests please rise and welcome the new couple."
We are going to be pronounced " It gives me great pleasure to announce what God and you have witnessed today, a couple bound by true love and commitment Presening Stephanie and Stephanie Congratulations!"
We're using a Scottish Episcopalian liturgy (we're Episcopalian but not Scottish) where the priest says: Now that YourName and HerName have made these promises before God and those gathered here, I declare that they are joined in marriage. Those whom God has joined together let no one put asunder. If you're going for secular, you could just do: "I declare you joined in marriage" or something like that.
