Re: wedding in june - need to lose weight!

  • Your best bet at this point is to cut out as many processed foods as you can.  Eat whole foods--lots of fruits and veggies (fresh is best, but frozen is good too), lean proteins (chicken, turkey, lean cuts of beef or lean ground beef), healthy fats (olive oil, nuts, peanut butter, avocado), whole grains.  Make sure you're eating ENOUGH but not TOO MUCH (track on a site like myfitnesspal, sparkpeople, etc).

Adding some high intensity intervals into your workouts, and some weight training is usually a good idea too (unless you have injuries or something where you shouldn't--talk to your doctor if you're unsure).   Just make sure you're eating enough to support your activity level.

  • Join a boot camp class and supplement it with a diet like the one the pp mentioned!  I think there might have been some classes on Groupon this week, recently.

  • Oh, but a word of caution:  Dress fittings should start about two months out from the wedding.  You're not going to want to lose much more after your first fitting.  Take that into consideration.

If you haven't heard of Isagenix, I would highly recommend it! They have a special cleansing program in which many men and women have lost several pounds just within a cleanse. I have a friend that did the 9 day cleanse and lost 11 lbs. 11 lbs in 9 days! Doesn't soung healthy but the truth is, it works and it is healthier than any other diet program i've tried! for more info, check out @ www.rockstarmel.isagenix.com ... i'm am on day 14 of a 30 day and i've lost 11 lbs! i am hoping to lose another 10-15 lbs by next month! :D my goal weight is between 98-105 lbs! (i am really short =) ) I'm currently a size three but i have a few size zero work pants that almost fit! :D
