My girlfriend had asked me to plan her bachelorette party last year for her. It is now my turn getting married and she has not offered to throw me a bachelorette party in return...do I approach this?

    No. She was out of line asking you to host one.  You never ask anyone to host a party in your honor, if they want to offer to throw one, they will.

    Ditto PP. It was very rude of her to ask you to plan a party in her honor. I probably would not have been as nice as you with going along with it.

    Don't do what she did. It was out of line. If someone offers to throw it, great. Otherwise, you can always just get your girls together for a Girls Night Out. Don't mention the wedding, don't make it wedding-related, just have fun with them.
