Hypoallergenic flowers??

Let me start my saying I DO NOT want silk flowers. I want real flowers.

Ok, I am allergic to basically the outdoors, so I am trying to find flowers that are not fragrant. My favorite flowers, peonies, are very fragrant, so those are no longer an option.

I have to be careful because the last thing I want is to get a rash on my wedding day, but I really want real flowers.

Any suggestions?!

Ask your florist for flower varieties with no or low pollen content and little smell. You may also want to test out a few flower varieties before your wedding day. You could possibly get test flowers from your florist, but most cities also have flower markets and Whole Foods usually has a good floral selection.

Roses and orchids are usually safe for people with flower allergies. Lilies can be made pollen free.

Oh... a primarily succulent bouquet with minimal flower accents might be safe for you too, if you like the look.
