photography sites in downtown Milwaukee

Hi all!

I'm trying to decide where to have my post ceremony photos taken. I am having my ceremony in the Tribal Room at Potawatomi and will have some photos taken there, but I want to find a unique place or two in downtown to take some artistic photos. While looking through photographer portfolios I fell in love with all the photos with the downtown backdrop. I just want to find someplace where I can take indoor photos as well - the wedding is in mid May, so the weather may not be the best.

Any ideas would be most helpful!

We took pictures at Lake Park downtown. The 3rd Ward would be a good place to walk around if you want more urban photos. The Intercontinental Hotel has a great lobby for indoor pics if you need them.

My brother took pictures in the Alley and parking lot behind the Aveda Institue right on 1st street. The pictures turned out awesome. Very city chic. I have also seen couples taking pictures down Broadway by the wicked hop and all those cute shops.

I would say if you wanted a trendy but still classic look for your photos, the third ward would be perfect! Good Luck!
