  • Just look through a bunch of music and find something pretty that you like. Maybe an instruamental version of a song you really like or something like that? Just make sure you pay attention to the beat and its not to fast

  • If you are getting married in a church, first find out if there are any restrictions on music, before you go getting your heart set on anything specific.

Talk to your organisit or ceremony musician .  They've done lots of weddings and will have many suggestions.

  • I'm walking down to "Fade into You" originally by Mazzy Star but the instrumental version by Vitamin String Quartet.

  • I love love love Canon in D. I know it's a super simple piano song, but it's always been my favorite.

We're exiting the ceremony to Viva la vida (by Coldplay) but an instrumental cover version.

I also love a lot of songs from the Love Actually sound track!
  • I'm walking down the aisle to "This Kind of Love" by Sister Hazel.  I'm going to mix the song so that my bridal party can walk down to it without words (instrumental only), and then when I am ready to come in, the words will start...

"this kind of love makes me feel ten feet tall"...

Ahh I love that song.  I can't wait to walk down the aisle and see this kind of love standing at the altar.  Kiss

  • I'm walking down the aisle to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
  • PP mentioned Vitamin String Quartet...they have great instrumental versions of popular songs (aka nontraditional). I am walking down to Canon in D but the rest of the ceremony we will be using Vitamin String Quartet.
  • I'm walking down the aisle to Can't help falling in love with you by Elvis..played on the saxaphone I love it its so pretty
  • I'm using the acoustic version of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters.  (I'm also a very non-traditional bride and this is perfect for us)

  • I'm walking in to "Hikari" from Kingdom Hearts.  I don't like any of the existing orchestral arrangements, so I contacted a guy on YouTube who does fantastic digital instruments, and he's working on something for me.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I'm walking down the aisle to "Wave on Wave" the accoustic version by Pat Green
