Dates too close?

My Very long term Very good friend got engaged about 2 weeks before me, I  picked March 16th 2012 she has just informed me shes getting married in april of 2012 ( knew she was thinking of doing it around May 2012) Do I need to move my wedding date? Is it too close? Or is it okay? We will have veerrry few (2-3)  guests in common.

    I personally think it will be fine, but I would say maybe talk to her about it to get her feelings on it if you are worried about it being to close. The only thing that I would say might cause a problem is if you both are in each others wedding. If so, that might be a little stressful.

    No I think it will be fine. I would've said change it if you were sharing guests or bridesmaids

    Well, she won't pick the first weekend in April (Palm Sunday), and she won't pick the second weekend in April (Easter).

    So the EARLIEST she would pick would be the THIRD weekend in April, which is a whole month after yours.  Leave yours alone.

    I say stick to the date! I have 2 friends getting married around the same time as me and we all having fun sharing wedding plans and ideas with each other.
