Lindt chocolates as favors?

I was shopping with FSIL and we stopped to get a free chocolate at the Lindt store. While there we saw some cute little boxes of a bride/groom and a wedding cake. Anyway we wouldn't do the boxes but we could get 550 truffels for 125 dollars and get our own little boxes and the favors should come under $1.50 a person. Would you enjoy lent chocolates at a wedding?

I went to a wedding where they had Lindt chocolates as favors and I can tell you not one single favor was left behind.  They were really good.

I'm doing this exact thing so I'm glad you posted this. The truffles are a little plain looking so I'm going to do some piping work on them, just some food for thought.

Do you mean you're going to open them and pipe on the chocolate? I probably wouldn't eat them TBH after someone else handled them.

I think I would enjoy chocolates as favors.  Can't really go wrong there!

However, are you going to personalize it in any way since chocolates are quite a common thing given out at weddings?

I think it's a wonderful idea! So much that I wouldn't mind doing this for my own wedding as well!
