Bridesmaid jewelry help!

I have been looking for-ev-er (and no I am not exaggerating!) on jewelry for my attendants and can not seem to find anything I like.  I have been to a wedding where all of the the jewelry matched and then to another where the jewelry was in a "collection" but all different for each maid.

Any assistance of where anyone has gone or done in regards to matching or mismatching?

    Ditto pp.

Absolutely let the bridesmaids choose their own jewelry. No one will notice or care what jewelry they have on.
  • My girls chose their own jewelry. I have no idea what it looked like. I would have to pull up close-up pics to even know. Translation: Nobody will notice this.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I got my girls their jewelry, it wasn't matching to each other, but to their personalities. I just made it all crystal bling so they would coordinate. You can get them matching, get them different but same type so they go with each other or let your girls pick it out themselves but give them guidelines like, anything in crystal, or silver or a certain color. This way they will still coordinate.
  • I just asked them to wear whatever jewelry they wanted, as long as it was silver, since that's once of our colors. I didn't really care exactly what it was, but I felt that gold jewlery would look a bit odd with the silver accents. Since most people own a bit of both, I think you're safe specifying just that element.

<div>Well only one of them has an e-ring, and it's white gold. But no, I would never ask anyone not to wear something like an e-ring, or anything else particularly meaningful. Just like I would never dictate what style of jewelry my girls should wear. I want them to be comfortable and happy! They shouldn't have to go out of their way to conform with some complicated set of attire rules. Asking for silver rather than gold when they open their jewelry box doesn't fall in that category.</div>

  • I would leave it up to your BMs.  They will be coordinated in their dresses, so its nice for them to be able to still express some of their own personalities in the accessories.Smile Besides, do any have sensitivities to jewelry, such as needing nickel-free, etc?

  • I personally like matching jewelry. I think if you get something they can wear again that is in style they will appreaciate this more. Busy bride jewelry(online) has really cute jewelry and this is wear I got my jewelry. The coolest thing(which made me feel special) is that they did personal shopping(free of charge). I didn't find anything that worked with my dresses so I sent them a picture of my dress and they picked 3 pieces of jewelry they thought would look nice. I loved one of the necklaces they sent me. Good luck! (my jewelry I picked pictured below).
