STD.. ahhhhh

My plan was to get STDs. Last night when I was looking on the one website I didn't realize it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. So I started to throw around the idea of not doing them. Then I got to thinking my wedding is May 25 memorial day weekend, OOT guest would like to know in advance. I need soem ideas on where to purchase. I am looking for either a postcard with our picture or a photocard that I can place in an evenlope and send. I am stressing because I haven't gotten our e-pics back, I need addreses and I start traveling non stop in 3 weeks for work until the 1st week of November

I would go with VistaPrint. You can upload your own image and design the whole thing yourself if you want (or use their design). There are always Groupons so you can get a nice discount that way. They're the most reasonably priced IMO.

Also, here's a list of special discounts on Vistaprint (some STD postcards on there are as low as $12.49 for 100): CLICKY

    Hope this helps!

This I get emails from vista print almost daily!!! I'm strongly considering using them for my STDs too. I love what magnet street has but they are pricey.
  • I'd go with vista print too, but I'd warn against not doing postcards.  Every post card STD I've received has looked terrible by the time it gets through the mail.  The ink cracks and wears off badly.  I'd just put it on a card and stick it in an envelope.

  • I also suggest vistaprint.

You girls all talking about pricing for STD and invites makes me glad that I didn't have to pay for them.

  • I plan to upload a design to vistaprint and use that (thanks to SSaltzmman/groupon!)

  • I really wanted a STD from minted.com but I couldn't justify spending over $100 bucks on them! I ordered one of the sample kits from Vistaprint to see the different paper textures and with the groupon I bought, we are definitely going that route. I have a few favorites but DF might still design ours. It's a great way to save some money!

Vistaprint will probably be your best bet. We're not having many guests so I'm splurging a little, ours are from a vendor on Etsy (we're doing boarding passes).
  • Vistaprint or go on Etsy and find some printable ones that you print yourself in whatever colors and on whatever paper you prefer.  I've seen some for $30.

  • mpix.com is really good too, especially with the photo cards.  We did ours, were able to design exactly the way we wanted without sticking to a template, and they ended up being about 65 cents each.  They also came with free envelopes, but we designed them as a postcard to save on postage.
We also had them within 2 days.
  • Shutterfly is another option!

  • Completely 100% agree on vistaprint while taking advantage of a groupon!

  • Agree with all of the the other vistaprint divas out there! Just ordered my STDs with a groupon and got about 100 magnets for less than 50.00. Can't beat that!

  • I just recieved my STD magnets from vistaprint.  I got a great deal on them using an emailed promo for 50% off $50 or more.  All together with shipping and a few extra envelops (who doesn't need a few extra) I think the total was under $35.  They came out great!
