XP: Support group, anyone?

It has nothing to do with my size, but I know this board is filled with active, super nice people, and I wondered if any of you knew an equally great community of another type.

Anyone know a good online support group for the family/friends of people with depression?

Edit: removed details. Basically, my FFIL's depression is killing him, but he won't get help himself.

Honestly, this isn't something for this website. I would actually search for an online forum that handles this.

I think she's just looking to see if PS posters know of an online forum for this. I don't think she's trying to start a long discussion here about it. Raptor, I'm sorry to hear about your FFIL. I don't know of an online site for this, but good luck!!

I just think Googling it would be better than posting here. I am just not one to put my family's issues out there on a forum not dedicated to it. That being said, here is what I found:

I understand and agree, but I think she is hoping to get a response from someone who has been there, rather than finding a bunch of sites through a google search, kwim?

Maybe see if there is a local NAMI group near you or celebrate recovery if you are Christian.
