How do you plan to do your makeup and nails? Any ideas yet?

I'm having an issue with this as I never really wear make up ... The most would be eyeliner & lipgloss & that's for those dress up date nights. My hair im thinking half up half down as I want my dress kind of backless but until my dress is bought I'm not making final decisions. Oops forgot my nails ... I used to have acrylics an ill more than likely b Go back to then right before the wedding lol

I am also thinking half up/half down for my hair. I may be getting extensions if my hair isn't as long as I want it. I want it curly for sure. As for make-up, I don't wear a whole lot of make-up normally, so I still don't know what I am doing for that. I plan on getting a full-set french tip for my nails and i'll get my toes done to match my bridemaids' dress color

I've had my makeup and hair done professionaly many times and I've never liked it as much as when I do it myself. I going to do my own makeup. I love makeup- I want a very dramatic eye and I'm definetely doing falsh lashes. When someone asked what I wanted to have my makeup look like for my wedding I said "Kim Kardashian with a better marriage" lol

For my hair, I really just want to be comfortable. Updos are uncomfortable to me. My hair has never stayed curled for more than a couple hours, so I don't want to curl it. Right now I love my hair style. It's cut into a very specific layered shape and I think I'm just going to leave it down for the wedding and nicely blow it out. I am wearing a veil with it- I'll take it out at the reception, but I don't mind just having my hair down without the veil either.

Nails... I usually like a french manicure. Has anyone ever done shellac? It's amazing- that's probably what I'll do for the wedding.

I wanna wear it all up but I am not sure how. We are getting our hair done, by my hair dresser and to be honest with you I have never picked out what I want to get done with my hair (cut or color) she always just looks at me and goes this is what I am doing and it turns out great. So once the dress comes in I will take a picture of me in it and show her.

As for make up I am not someone that wears alot either. Probably a lot of waterproof becuse I know I will be crying walking down aisle. My one bridesmaid does her make up soo well so I am sure she would do it. And nails I have gel nails now so I am sure that is what I will have and get a pedi done too. Now my shoes I am looking for Miller Light Blue color so if anyone has ideas for those let me know.

Nails, I have acrylics and will still have them for my wedding. My hands feel weird without them.

For hair I want to do half up half down for the ceremony.

Then put into a low ponytail for the reception. I figure it will be really warm with 200+ people in the room and this way I won't lose all my curls

Obviously it will look a little more put together but this is a general idea.

Make-up I am not sure how I want to do it yet but I like this look.

I wear a good amount of make up everyday. Just not someone who can go without it. So Ill do my own make up and have one of my bridesmaids do my eyes because she rocks at it. My hair Im going with the half up half down also. My nails, I have gel nails and have had them for three years. Ill still have them for the wedding. We have already picked out a nice sparkley glitter fade.

I don't really wear makeup everyday only on special occasions and when I really want to get dolled up. I am thinking of trying the airbrush make for the E-pics and if I end up liking it I will more than likely do it for the wedding too.

As for hair depending on how long it get from now till then hopefully at least shoulder length. I would like to do one of these two... I may even add some clip in extension if I need too...

As far as nails go I had pink and white acrylics but I decided to take them off and now I have the shellac on. @MelB: I love it!!! I got my nails painted about 3 weeks ago and they haven't chipped once. My hands are in water all the time too. Granted I need to get them done because my nails have grown out since then but I can not complain one bit. You should definitely try it before the wedding to see if you will like it.

FL Gator: I use shellac every time I want my nails to look nice for a special occasion. I wish I could do it all the time, but I'm a professional guitar player, so my nails have to be very very short when I work. I try to keep them manicured still so I don't have man hands! LOL

Lol!!! I wish they would do shellac on toes it would be amazing to have polish that would last this long on a beach vacation!!!

They do do shellac on the toes! My mom gets it done in the summer. She only gets it done two or three times all summer long.

I'm trying to grow my hair out as per FI's request. Personally I'd love to have my hair short and chic like I normally do but I'll try. If it gets to a good length I will have it pulled to the side in a low ponytail with some curls.

As for makeup, since I never really wear it, I want the whole shebang! I love makeup I just suck at appying it. I'm probably going to have a friend to everyone's make since she rocks at it.

And last but not least, nails, I will probably get french tip nails with UV gel.
