Saturday Checks Anyone??

I honestly didn't think I would be starting one this late in the day! Here are mine:

- Met with the officiant to finalize the order of the ceremony, discuss readings and figure out the microphone situation. Initially when he agreed to marry us, our guest list was not supposed to pass 75, but that was about 4-5 months ago; now we are at 137 so we need a mic for sure.

- Went to FMIL's house and got the ring bearer alternative "pillow" that belong to FFIL when he was alive. It's my way of including him in the day:

Still adding RSVPs and if I could be 100% honest, I'm looking forward to a few no's...so far it doesn't look like it's happening.

Yeah, we got another RSVP today- it was our first no. I am kind of aggravated about it.

This week, the wedding will OFFICIALLY be paid for including those stupid hidden fees we got hit with.

We found a "caterer." A good friend of FMIL and mine agreed to do it for us. We just have to buy the food. NO PROBLEM!!!

I am just thrilled to have one less thing to worry about.

I got my alterations rescheduled to go to the Buckeyes spring game with FgpaIL, FFIL, and FI. Yay.... all men. But, FgpaIL was really excited about the prospect of me going, so I am onbligated to go now. lol.

Love the UPS truck!

We had our engagement photos this afternoon. We weren't originally planning on doing them, which is why it's so late, but I'm so glad we did! We had a lot of fun, and our photographer already has a few of our pics on her facebook page. I can't wait to see more

I also cut 70 pieces of ribbon that we'll be tying around the napkins as napkin rings. The napkins are yellow and the ribbon is green with yellow polka dots.

-Ordered stamps for the postcards so I can officially weigh the invites and get the correct postage.

-Picked up the right envelopes for the invites and exchanged the other ones I got the other day. I didn't have an invite on me and I guessed the wrong size.

FI's still out of town so I went to the mall and found a rehearsal dress!

I posted this on the Facebook group but I'm too excited so I'll share again. We had a very productive day!

-I got my hair cut and talked with my hair dresser about my hair and my BMs hair for the wedding. I'll make a trial appointment for May.

-Met with my minister to discuss our questionnaire we had to take and plan the ceremony. We were a "harmonious" couple according to the questionnaire which was good to hear.

-We stuffed all our envelopes and stamped them and they're all ready to go. They'll be mailed out this weekend!

Last night I did my wedding hair trail. I have fake hair sewn in. My hair is all natural and I don't want to worry about it for the wedding. The hair will be pinned for the wedding but this is what it looks like unpinned.

Also, FI and I went to Kmart today. I found towel wraps that I would like for my BM to have in their gift bag. I am purchasing them next week on-line at an upcoming sale. And I purchased the orange nail polish I was looking for. Now, I can personalize one fuschia and one orange nail polish with each BM name and the wedding date. To go in there gift bags a well.

NWR: I have a baby shower for one of my best friends tomorrow and made a diaper tricycle.

I really don't know why my pictures always upload sideways when they are fine on my computer. Anyway, you get the idea. Diapers, bibs, bottle, booties, and receiving blankets.

Now I just have another one to make for my cousin next month

FI and I went to the post office on our way to get coffee this morning. We wanted to weight all of our invitations to make sure they would be ok before we stamped them. They had 1oz to spare!

Then FI's stepdad came over so they could investigate a drip in our wall so I decided to stuff all of the envelopes with the RSVP card and envelope. I labeled the front of the envelope. The last thing to do is double check that the response cards match the names on the envelope (we wrote them on ahead of time), stamp, seal, and put the return address label. I hope to have that done by next weekend as I will be bombarded with shower Thank You's after that.

I painted bowls and trays with FMIL for my candy bar and tables. It's getting tedious but I know they're going to look great once they are done!
