Weekend progress and checks?

How was everyone's weekend? Get anything wedding related accomplished?

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond Saturday night and went out to a really nice dinner. Yey!

Got absolutely nothing wedding-related done this weekend. Made a smash cake for my MOH's son's 1st birthday and then had a long rehearsal for a community play that I'm in.

This week it's off to Disney for the Princess Half and then hopefully when I get back I can dive into wedding stuff again!

So many wedding checks here... caterer, linens, cake, photographer, DJ, venues. Met with them all, saw the venues, met with the reception venue coordinator (he comes with the space, haha). And may have decided on invitation design! Oh, and e-pics. Those are done too.

We went to our 3rd caterer tasting - we now have it narrowed down to two, so that is exciting! We just need to try a different beef option for one of the caterers which will be on Thursday.

NWR progress - we got our house listed on the market and visited a few homes, so that was exciting too!

Our venue has open catering so we have been interviewing different places.

It has been awesome! We have decided we just aren't going to get married and pretend to be researching catering for the rest of our lives - its a free meal every time. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />

Sweet mercy, we haven't even <em>contacted </em>caterers yet.

I booked our cupcake truck this week and sent Save the Dates. (Sorry if I have already counted these checks before - I can't remember what I have posted). FI and I are currently trying as many food trucks as we can and getting price quotes, so that we can settle on the food trucks that will cater. Today, we tried an awesome Italian food truck. The cannelloni was incredible. Also, booked an appointment with the florist. I plan to take in my pics from the Sam's club website to see if they can price match.

No way in heck would candy last 8 more months in my house. I'd have to put it in a safe deposit box at the bank or something.

We booked the venue and signed up for pre-Cana, but that's about it. We JUST moved up the wedding, so I have nothing done.

We booked the rehersal dinner, my wedding band came in and the totes I orddred to oput the girls gifts in came in too. I'm hoping to decide on a ceremony musician this week.
