Hey ladies! Did any of you hire a wedding planner? Have you found it to be money well spent?

I have two day of coordinators so that I'm not stressed on the wedding day. I'm too much of a control freak to completely turn over the entire planning process to someone. I made a binder for them with spreadsheets and pictures of how I want everything along with the photographer and DJ timelines, so hopefully everything will run smoothly.

I have a coordinator. My wedding process has been so smooth sailing. She has everything under control. Between her and my sister (MOH), all I have to do is confirm what ever they are doing. Im glad I have a Coordinator. If you can afford one I would do it.

I had a coordinator/ partial planner. Best wedding money spent. I think I wouldve rather gotten married in a tshirt and jeans than skip that expense. I didnt worry about anything the week before or day of the wedding and she did "running around " for me the month prior. I encourage every bride to have at least a day of coordinator.

Things went wrong prior to the ceremony that i heard nothing about until the day after. Even then I referred them to her

I have a coordinator and she is wonderful! I'm in Atlanta with no family to help, so she has done everything I've needed. My Dj and photographer have even commented on how thorough and prompt she is. They said she provides them with everything before they can even ask.

That was our very first wedding investment. If you have room in your budget, it is definitely money well spent. These ladies are AMAZING! They have made this process so much smoother than it could have been.

I have trust issues so I did not want a planner but I am getting married in Alabama and I live in md so I found out one do my OES sisters is a planner and I trust her so I am hiring her she lives in alt and has good vendor contacts in Alabama The peace of mind and worry that I don't have any more will be worth the money lol And I will have a contract and pay her

I agree w/ M1ssJ best money spent. I literally didnt have to think about a thing on my wedding day. There were so many things that went on behind the scenes that would've pissed me off that i'm just finding out about lol. She was AMAZING! She set everything up perfectly the morning of, made sure everyone was in place, made sure the ceremony & reception flowed perfectly & at the end i was able to just leave & she had everything covered. I couldnt imagine it any other way.

I have hired a day of coordinator also! She has been a God send so far. She has even saved me money by supplying tablecloths, candy jars for candy buffet, and decanters for my drink station, things I would have had to pay for out of my pocket.

Yep, def money well spent. My coordinator will have a team with her on the day of and has been right by my side for all of the planning

I have a DOC and she is my "whatever I need girl." Money well spent. My wedding is 8 mos away but she is getting everything in place. I have faith in her that she will handle everything I need and more.
