Does anyone allow outside catering?!?!

Looking for a reception site that allows outside catering.  My mom works in the catering/bartending business and we would prefer to save money by using a location that allows us to bring in our own caterer.

Any suggestions??

Thanks Smile

If she works in the catering business then doesn't she know of places where she's catered before that could work or ask her colleagues? And IN isn't that small, where in IN are you getting married?

edit:Obviously this is the Indianapolis board, but are you looking downtown, northside near carmel/noblesville, southside. etc

Avon Gardens. I have booked my ceremony and reception with them, and they allow you to bring you own food, alcohol, everything. They are great to work with so far, and they have made things a lot cheaper than booking other places.

I had my wedding at the Mavris a couple of months ago and they allow outside catering. Because of this, the fee to rent the building is a little more expensive than comparable venues, but I felt like it was worth it.

I think Mavris has now switched to in-house catering.
