Photographer specializing in photojournalism (on a budget)

Hi all - I'm searching for a photographer now that specializes in photojournalism but fits within our $1400 budget.

My fiance and I are planning to set up meetings with Modern Image Studios and George Street in the next week, but would love any other recommendations before we start.
