Good Seamstress in North/Central Jersey?

I bought my dress at David's Bridal in Manhattan, but have ZERO desire to schlep it back to the city from NJ to get it altered, to have to schlep it home again. Plus, I've heard some not great things about DB alterations/prices. I currently have an appt at the DB store in Springfield, but am looking around. 

Can anyone recommend a good seamstress in the area, with bridal experience, that won't break my bank? I called Jefre Bridal and their prices start at $400 for dress not bought there! I really don't need much done on my dress...a bustle, some sewn in bra cups...I don't even think it needs to be shortened to be honest. Fits like a glove! But it is beaded lace, so if it does need to be taken in or let out anywhere, I don't want someone unexperienced to do it.

    You should definitely call Hollywood Bridal in Kenilworth. They are super nice and professional and they do a great job. I've had multiple bridesmaid dresses altered there in the past with no issues. And I was just there for my first fitting on my wedding gown, and they were excellent!

    Did you get your dress there? I know a lot of places won't do alterations on dresses that weren't bought through them...

    I've heard good things about them, though.

    Hollyood Bridal will do it.. I believe Sherri used them for a dress that wasn't purchased there.

    Yeah, Sherri did and both mothers for my wedding are having their alterations done by Hollywood as well (dresses were purchased at other stores).
