I received a message from my bridal salon telling me to call them. I knew something was up because I thought, had my dress arrived, they would have said so on the message.
When I called, they told me that Maggie Sottero had called saying that another bride is getting married sooner than I and wanted to know if I'd be okay with my dress being done by June, instead of it's original arrival date of March 20th. Well, I was totally weirded out by this. I am so NOT a negotiator either so I didn't think to ask for some of the cost to be knocked off. I just went ahead and said yes, since I wouldn't need alterations until July anyway. The manager told me that I was making another bride very happy!
Now I feel sort of strange. I hope to God nothing happens with my gown in the mean time. On the bright side, I helped out another bride with the same style as me.
I also figure this will give me more time to work on losing the weight I want to so that my first try on I will feel amazing! I also hope a little good bridal karma will come my way because of it...
