DC MarriageLicense?

Does anyone know if both of us need to be there to pick up the marriage license? We already went to submit the paperwork and paid, now just need to pick up.  Thanks!!
P.S. just want to make sure we just give it to the priest at the rehersal and that's it?  Is there a copy we keep?

    Both of you do not have to be present to pick up the license.  You may order a copy of the certificate and it is a fairy small fee ( around 10 i think) but that's only if you want one, it's not required!

    I agree with OPP. H went to get our and I went and picked it up by myself.

    Your priest will give you a copy, Msgr. kept one copy that he needed to send it but we have the front sheet.
