I love reading about all the gals who admit, like me, that we have been lurking on this site for longer than we'd like to admit!  After five years, I have a wonderful, good man for a fiancee, a college degree, and one heck of a sparkler!

    yay! Congrats on the awesome sparkler! We had been together 4 before we got engaged and are getting married next weekend (!!!!!) after 2 more years. It comes eventually!

    While I'm sure lots of couples are happily wedded after shorter dating time periods, I think that it sure is nice to really get to know eachother over a lot of years (in my case college), and gives a great foundation for building a healthy marriage and a happy family!  Good luck futuregabriel on your nuptials this weekend!!  And Amanda, 5 years is the charm, right?  ; )
