'Hi' i'm new here

Hi my husband and I have been married for 15 years in 2013 and are planning a renewal on 8-17-13. The reason for this is because now we have the money to have the dream wedding I always wanted. Can't wait to here what's in-style now. My husband and I are business professionals and have a family and do not have time to do much planning. I Googled Wedding Planners in Columbus and came across a bride seminar in Hilliard Ohio. Is anyone attending or have attended in the past? I'm thinking about going...

    I am pretty sure vow renewals and weddings are two separate things...
    Regardless.... Welcome aboard! We're glad to have you.
    Do you have any ideas yet or inspiration?
    Aparently there is a predicition that big fancy parties are making a come back. This year seems to be a vintage/rustic feel for weddings.

    Thanks for the welcome. I understand that they are somewhat different, but we are going to go all out this time around. We have a large budget and can't decide if we want to have something local (large party) or fly the entire guest list (75) to a destination. So I was wondering if it would be worth  attending  a bridal show or seminar to help make this less streeful? 

    So do a lot of girls use wedding planners these days? When we got married it was just my mother and I planning.

    Welcome!  That's exciting that you guys are going all out - vow renewal or not! :) Congratulations on 15 years!!


    If you want to check out the bridal seminar you found, go for it!  It will give you a chance to meet some vendors and see what's "in" and then you can make a better decision about doing something local or going destination!
